Youth Build Day 2025

This summer, we hosted our inaugural Youth Day Build, bringing 75 college students together for a day of service and impact. Made possible with a $75,000 donation from Wells Fargo, this citywide initiative was a celebration of youth leadership and a shared vision for a better Atlanta.

Volunteers were spread across four locations: two new home builds, a library clean up at Humphries Elementary School, and a Brush With Kindness home preservation project which included pressure washing and exterior painting for a local resident.
Program partners included Atlanta Falcons HBCU Fellows, Georgia Building Trades Academy YouthBuild program, and participants in the Mayor’s Scholar Program and Summer Youth Employment Program.
