In this foundational session, participants will learn the key elements of delivering a powerful and effective business pitch. We will cover public speaking fundamentals, elevator pitch development, business pitch structure, audience engagement, voice tone, body language, and confidence-building techniques.

Participants will also learn how to understand their audience and community needs, create a clear and compelling message, and communicate what makes their business valuable. This session will prepare each participant to speak with clarity, confidence, and purpose as they move toward presenting a funding-ready pitch.

This interactive session gives participants the opportunity to present their business pitch in a supportive, practice-based environment. Each participant will deliver their pitch while selected peers rotate as evaluators, providing feedback on delivery, clarity, confidence, and content. The goal is to help participants strengthen their message, improve their presentation style, and build confidence before presenting to the official VGA Launch audience or judges. By the end of this session, participants will leave with practical feedback and a stronger, more polished pitch.
