Elective Class Conference

These elective classes are open to all program participants and will be held in person at the Atlanta Habitat main office. Program participants will receive TRIPLE sweat equity for attending.

Our Elective Class Conference is a fun and flexible opportunity for all Atlanta Habitat program participants to come together, connect, and learn in a relaxed and engaging setting. Participants can choose from a variety of upbeat, hands-on elective classes designed to inform, inspire, and recharge, making learning feel less like a requirement and more like a celebration.Join us for dinner and a chance to win a $50 Kroger gift card! Wellness That Works: Simple Steps for Everyday Health

This practical and encouraging session helps participants build small, meaningful habits that support personal well-being and successful homeownership. Dr. Marsh will share simple, everyday strategies to boost energy, reduce stress, and create a clean, healthy home environment. Participants will leave with actionable steps they can begin using right away to feel better, stay organized, and flourish in their homes.

Mindful Money: Rethinking the Way You Spend and Save

This session blends mindfulness practices with essential financial literacy tools. Participants will learn how to shift money habits, manage financial stress, and make values-aligned spending decisions. This elective supports families in strengthening the financial foundation needed for long-term stability and successful homeownership.

New Year, New Vision: Mapping Your Home and Life Goals

This reflective vision-mapping experience invites participants to set intentional goals for 2026 across homeownership, family, finances, wellness, and personal growth. Through guided reflection and planning, participants will create a clear and motivating roadmap to support progress throughout the year.

Registration Note

To ensure a focused and meaningful experience for reflective and personal visioning work, the following age requirements apply:

  • Participants must be 16 years or older to attend.
  • Youth ages 16-17 may attend with a parent or guardian.
  • No children under 16 will be permitted for this class.
