Grounding Yin Restorative Yoga
This elective class is open to all program participants and will be held in person at the Atlanta Habitat main office. Program participants currently earning sweat equity will receive DOUBLE sweat equity for attending.
Unwind and relax with this calming yoga class focused on deep stretches and restorative postures. This slower-paced class emphasizes deep relaxation and gentle stretching through longer-held poses supported by props when needed. Participants will have the opportunity to calm the mind, release tension, and restore energy in a nurturing environment. This meditative practice is perfect for those seeking stillness and recovery, making it accessible for all levels. We'll provide everything you need, but you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, yoga block, and towel. Comfy clothes that allow for movement and a water bottle are recommended. This class is open to program participants aged 18 and older.

Empowering Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This elective class is open to all program participants and will be held in person at the Atlanta Habitat main office. Program participants currently earning sweat equity will receive DOUBLE sweat equity for attending.
Move through an energizing and uplifting sequence designed to help you feel empowered and connected to your body. This dynamic, movement-based meditation links breath to movement in a continuous flow. Participants will experience a balance of strength-building poses and moments of stillness to center the mind and energize the body. Expect moderate physical effort and an invigorating practice designed to improve flexibility, balance, and focus. All levels are welcome, with modifications provided to accommodate different abilities. We'll provide everything you need, but you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, yoga block, and towel.
