This elective class is open to all program participants and will be held online via Zoom. Program participants will receive DOUBLE sweat equity for attending.
This class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of investing. The goal is to help you build a solid foundation in investing, enabling you to make informed decisions and take confident steps towards building wealth. Whether you're looking to save for retirement, a major purchase, or simply grow your money, this class will equip you with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
Code Enforcement: Changing the Narrative
This elective class is open to all program participants and will be held in person at the Atlanta Habitat main office. Program participants will receive DOUBLE sweat equity for attending.
Learn how municipal code compliance supports safe, healthy, and unified communities. Understand the role of property maintenance in protecting home value and pride, and gain practical tips for staying in compliance and supporting neighborhood revitalization.

Chris Hanks, Founder of The Institute for Entrepreneurship, will lead a seminar for youth ages 12–17 from Homebuyer Program families. This interactive session focuses on vision-setting, problem-solving, and personal responsibility—core leadership skills that support Atlanta Habitat’s mission to foster generational growth and legacy-building.
