Your Family's Table: A Gathering Place

For the past six years, Your Family's Table (YFT) has partnered with Atlanta Habitat to provide something many families cherish most: a place to gather.

The vision behind Your Family's Table is simple yet powerful. By providing a handcrafted dining table, the organization helps create a dedicated space where parents, partners, and children can come together to share meals, strengthen relationships, and build lasting memories.

At the heart of the partnership is Tom Schulte, President and CEO of Your Family's Table and a longtime volunteer in Atlanta Habitat's warehouse. Inspired by the families he has met through his volunteer service, Tom saw an opportunity to combine his craftsmanship with his passion for supporting homeowners.

"Every table is a place where families can communicate more frequently, and I hope these heartfelt conversations can lead to a more stable, sustainable, and supportive home environment," said Tom.

Recently, Your Family's Table delivered the first of many dining tables to homeowners in Atlanta Habitat's Langston Park community, helping transform new houses into welcoming homes. The meaningful partnership was also recently featured by CBS News Atlanta, highlighting the impact a simple table can have on family connection and stability.

Through the generosity of partners like Your Family's Table, Atlanta Habitat families receive more than a home. They gain spaces that foster connection, belonging, and the opportunity to build a stronger future together.
