Spirits Under the Spirit: A Night to Remember

Those powerful words from Atlanta Habitat homeowner, Ozzy, resonated deeply with guests at the 4th Annual Spirits Under the Spirit fundraising event.

From the moment Ozzy stepped in front of the crowd, he captured hearts and minds as he shared his journey to homeownership through Atlanta Habitat. His story is a powerful reminder of what's possible when community comes together.

The Spirits Under the Spirit fundraiser is a joyful evening filled with great spirits, meaningful conversations, and an inspiring community of supporters. More importantly, it is an opportunity to spotlight Atlanta Habitat's mission of creating pathways to affordable homeownership for families across our community.

What began as an idea from Atlanta Habitat Board Member Matt Sparks, Senior Vice President of Delta Connection at Delta Air Lines, has grown into one of our most impactful fundraising events. Each year, the event brings together dedicated partners and supporters who share a commitment to building stronger futures through homeownership.

This year's gathering also provided an opportunity to highlight our Langston Park development and celebrate one of its amazing homeowners, Ozzy. Through his story, he beautifully captured the hope, determination, and opportunity that defines the Atlanta Habitat mission.

By the end of the evening, we celebrated an incredible achievement: raising more than $427K, surpassing last year's fundraising goal and creating even more opportunities for families to reach the dream of homeownership.
