Theme-Builds
Our theme-builds are unique sponsorship opportunities that connect members from related industries and organizations to build a house alongside an Atlanta Habitat homebuyer.
Our current theme-builds include:
Atlanta Women’s Build
The Atlanta Women’s Build (AWB) is a grassroots effort led by individuals – all women – who raise funds to sponsor and construct two houses alongside two Atlanta Habitat working mothers and her family.
Atlanta Interfaith Build
Build in unity during our Atlanta Interfaith Build, which brings together more than five world-religions to build an Atlanta Habitat home, providing the opportunity for people of diverse cultures and religions to work as equals in support of affordable housing in the City of Atlanta.
Builder’s Blitz
This build brings together members from the local builders’ community and includes opportunities to engage employees, clients, A-E’s, contractors and subcontractors as volunteers on the build.
Buildable Hours
This build provides law and professional services firms with a vehicle to build upon the Habitat volunteer work of associates and summer associates and involve colleagues in meaningful service opportunities.
Home Cooking & Southern Hospitality House
This build engages members of Atlanta’s vibrant and rapidly growing food and hospitality industries, including but not limited to: restaurants, hotels, associations, and distributors.
The Upahar Project
This build is an initiative by the Indian community of Atlanta launched in 2017. Several Indian faith-based and community-based organizations come together in this initiative to sponsor the all-Indian/Hindu build with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity for a deserving family.
