The build will include faith communities from around the city to complete a home in seven days. Build days are Saturdays and/or Sundays from Aug. 13-Oct. 1.

Business to Business magazine names Martin and Bixler Women of Excellence

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that women leaders Larrie Del Martin, president and CEO, and board member Susan Bixler have been selected as Women of Excellence by Business to Business magazine.

The Warrick Dunn Family Foundation (WD-FF), a public charity serving single-parent families in Atlanta, Ga., Baton Rouge, La., Tallahassee and Tampa, Fl., rewarded a single mother for achieving financial independence by becoming a first-time homebuyer through its Homes for the Holidays (HFTH) program on Thursday morning.

A new Atlanta Habitat for Humanity home will be dedicated this Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at 12 pm. This home, built for new homebuyer Betty Smith and her family, is a special home sponsored by the Atlanta Women’s Build.
