Novelis and Atlanta Falcons

By this summer, Novelis, along with their partners—the NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons, the Arthur Blank Family Foundation, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia Dome—will have collected and recycled around 3 million aluminum cans to fund an Atlanta Habitat house on the Westside. The campaign, Recycle for Good, kicked off the Falcons’ winning season on Sept. 11, 2016, with fans leaving their empty cans in designated bins around the Georgia Dome.
One simple way that homeowners can easily make a big difference is bring clean cans to the Atlanta Habitat parking lot where we’ve set up a collection bin. Commit to participating and know that you play an important part in keeping our state sustainable and our communities thriving. In the state of Georgia, more than $70 million worth of aluminum goes to a landfill each year.
"Recycle for Good helps further our mission to build affordable, green, quality homes for working families in Atlanta," said Atlanta Habitat CEO Lisa Gordon. "The new home will be built on the Westside, an important, historic community of Atlanta that is experiencing a revival, thanks to our partner Novelis."
