All applicants must meet these qualifications.
- Be a first-time homebuyer;
- Be a citizen or legal resident of the U.S. who has lived or worked in one the following counties for the past year: Fulton, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Dawson, DeKalb, Fayette, Forsyth, Gwinnett or Henry;
- Have at least two, but no more than eight, people in your household;
- Prove steady income for at least two years that falls within our established guidelines;
- Show good credit and consistent payment histories on debts;
- Have no bankruptcies in the last four years;
- Hold a savings or checking account with a minimum balance of $200;
- Be willing to live in and participate in the communities where Atlanta Habitat is building at the time your application is approved.
