DONATE

Since 1983, thousands have donated generously to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.  Donors have provided the financial resources needed to build or renovate more than 1,000 homes in the City of Atlanta and Fulton County.

We are only able to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to qualified, working families through the continued support of our donors.  To reach our ambitious building and homebuyer education goals, we continually enlist the support and financial commitment of caring individuals, public and private foundations, businesses, churches, schools and civic groups.  Generous donations from the Atlanta community provide our most significant revenue stream.

SPONSOR A HOUSE

From corporations, to faith-based organizations, to foundations and individuals, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity relies on the generous support of its House Sponsors.  Consider how your organization can partner with us!

VOLUNTEER

Atlanta Habitat could not build without its volunteers. In fact, in 2008, it took more than 15,200 volunteers working more than 130,000 hours to build 52 new EarthCraft certified houses, manage our operations and run the ReStore. Volunteers construct houses, serve on committees, file, give presentations to groups, provide office assistance and more. This gift of time saves Atlanta Habitat over $2.7 million in labor costs each year.

Volunteers range from students to retirees, from skilled trades people to weekend do-it-yourselfers, from church and synagogue members to co-workers from large and small businesses.  The common thread is the desire to take part in something BIG – to help build affordable quality homes for qualified working families.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.  No one under the age of 16 will be allowed at the construction site for safety and liability reasons, but there are other volunteer opportunities for younger ones who want to help.
