Faith-Based Organization Sponsorships

Faith communities have been the backbone of Atlanta Habitat since our founding in 1983. Congregations have supported our organization in many ways from providing office space in the early years to building numerous homes to offering significant financial support. Faith communities also provide support by providing volunteers to help find qualified homebuyers and to serve as advocates for stronger communities.

Atlanta Habitat builds newly constructed homes year-round.

Theme Builds

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity works with a wide variety of civic and non-profit organizations to coordinate specially-themed houses including alumni houses and special anniversary projects. Learn More About Theme Builds

Interfaith Builds

Each year, Atlanta Habitat brings organizations from diverse faith traditions together around a common goal – affordable housing.  The first interfaith house in 2002 brought together members of the Bahá'í, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths.  Interfaith builds continue to involve congregations and campus ministries from multiple world religions and traditions. The tangible outcome of interfaith building is affordable, green, quality homes for working families in Atlanta; but the bonds built between faiths and between individuals are equally lasting.

Promotional Benefits

Promotional benefits such as inclusion on the Atlanta Habitat website and social media outlets, build site signage, recognition at house dedications, invitations to special events, and inclusion in our annual report or Homefront newsletter are available and graduated by sponsorship level.
