2016 Atlanta Women's Build

Donate to Atlanta Women's Build

The Atlanta Women’s Build (AWB) is a grassroots effort led by individuals - all women - who raise funds to sponsor and construct an Atlanta Habitat for Humanity home for a working mother and her family. Over seven weeks, nearly 300 women volunteers work side-by-side with the homebuyer to construct the house, offering a unique opportunity to highlight the ways that Atlanta Habitat empowers women and builds stability in communities.

13 Years of Building = 10 Affordable Homes Built FOR Women, BY Women

The AWB leadership has guided the construction of eight Atlanta Habitat homes from 2003-2015. Due to our growing success, the Atlanta Women's Build has a goal of building TWO houses in 2016.
